Michael barger

Michael “Barger” became a pastor at New Breed in September of 2025. He is married to Heather, and they have seven kiddos- Micah, Benjamin, Zipporah, Caleb, Tobin, Zeruiah and Nehemiah. Barger is a graduate of Boyce College with a focus in Biblical Counseling and from SBTS with a focus in Biblical and Theological Studies. Barger has a passion for discipleship and community outreach.

Michael matala

Michael Matala has served on staff at New Breed since 2014. He is married to Alia, and together they have two daughters, Emory and Thea. Michael holds a Master’s degree from Southern Seminary and a Doctor of Ministry degree with an emphasis in Faith & Culture from Southeastern Seminary.

garett davis

Garrett Davis became a pastor at New Breed in September of 2025. He is married to Hannah and they have four children. Garrett holds an M.Div. in Christian Ministry from Southern Seminary and a degree in Biblical and Theological Studies from Boyce College. Garrett's passion is to see each member of New Breed Church deeply enjoy God and be well-equipped to lovingly shine a light to the hope of the gospel.

Michael mcgilbra

Michael McGilbra joined the staff as a Pastor of New Breed in 2022 after serving as the Associate Pastor of Ralph Avenue Baptist Church. Michael is married to Tessa, and together they have two children, Aenias and Anisah. Michael is a graduate of Boyce College with a focus in Expository Preaching and Pastoral Care. Michael’s primary responsibilities are focused on pastoral support, evangelism and community outreach.

corey malloy

Corey became a pastor at New Breed Church in September of 2025. He is married to Ashley, and they have four children. Corey has experience working with church plants through serving on the initial planting team of his previous church. At New Breed, Corey desires to make sure every member is seen and cared for.

Jesse Ray became a pastor at New Breed in July of 2022. He is married to Meagan, and they have two children, Wren and Banks. Jesse is a graduate of Boyce College with a focus in Biblical and Theological Studies. Jesse has a passion to see New Breed Church grow in health and spiritual maturity.
